Why I suggest Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG Grandi Annate
Produced only in the best vintages, this nobleman surprises and crowns a good job in one of the most famous wineries in Montepulciano. Hard to find a better Noble than this. The price is important but the yield of the product is assured. Aroma and taste of white peach immediately on the nose and on the palate at first glance, the following is austere, I would say imperial.
The Sommelier: 100% Sangiovese, clear and consistent wine, intense ruby red color does not allow you to look inside. Mysterious nose: calmly reveals berries, liquorice and eucalyptus. Very elegant on the palate, it caresses with a hint of rose. Fresh and acidulous yet a long finish. The tannins rest after so many years.
Serving suggestions: Fresh pasta and mixed meat sauce: Lamb, Veal, grilled meat, Roast beef, venison cut on a bed of red fruits, cooked pear and mixed vegetables; hard cheeses.
Uncork and decant before serving at a temperature between 16 - 18 ° C, in large Ballon glass.
Winery: The Avignonesi estate is a historical reality detected by Virginie Saverys in 2009. Located in the most representative agricultural wine-growing context such as the Tuscany region, it tells the richness and beauty of the territory of Montepulciano and Cortona ... Go to the card.
