Why I suggest Zottorinoto Etna Rosso Riserva DOC
A classic Nerello Mascalese from Castiglione di Sicilia, the Zottorinoto whose name indicates the district of production. From the autochthonous grapes of Etna the fruit of an accurate vinification of the Mascalese. Aged in large barrels and subsequently in the bottle for a long time the texture of the tannin was completely attenuated and made the wine elegant with an abundant taste. A better taste indication you can only find it yourself.
The Sommelier: A beautiful ruby red color with orange garnet reflections in the glass. The long period of refinement amplifies the scent of raspberry, spices of cinnamon, chestnut; Opulent taste and delicate flavor, the tannin aged in refinement and harmonized with the components of the structure, can be easily swallowed; long persistence with flavors of dried fruit, a concentration of essences that are gradually acquired when in contact with the air in the glass. Excellent ratio between alcohol and acidity.
Recommended pairings: Vegetable soups, caponata; Grilled white and red meats: grilled tuna and Treviso red radicchio, fresh pasta with Pachino tomato sauce, aged cheeses, dried fruit.
Uncork and wait ½ h before serving at a temperature between 16 - 18 ° C, in Ballon goblet.
Cellar: a large cultivated area of about one hundred hectares. Most of them in the last twenty years play an important role, the cultivation of "extreme" vineyards ... Go to the file.
