Why I suggest Barolo DOCG Riserva Gramolere 2017
This is what you expect from a great wine: strength, balance, personality and evolution. We are in Monforte d'Alba for this Barolo of Nebbiolo macerated for 30/40 days and aged for 30 months in large barrels and barrels of minimum 500 liters. This Gramolere Riserva by Giovanni and Mauro Manzone is a wine of great interest. To be enjoyed at the right temperature, perhaps after many years.
Sommelier:
At the sight of bright red with notes of ripeness. Red fruit with very well harmonized spicy notes. Mouth of acid attack, fresh, but not impetuous. Very well calibrated tannins. Stretch of toasted and animal aftertaste.
Recommended pairings:
Barolo DOCG Riserva Gramolere 2017 Manzone with florentine sliced beef and side dish of Treviso red radicchio and grilled polenta; Tiella potatoes and mushrooms. Horse meat chops; Bari focaccia, Sardinian pecorino, celery and fried olives.
Uncork Barolo DOCG Riserva Gramolere 2017 Manzone and decant for two hours before serving at a temperature of 17-19 ° C, in a large Ballon glass.
