Why I suggest Barolo DOCG Cerrati Vigna Cucco Riserva 2012
A very nice Barolo, which needs a few hours of settling before being served. What should I say about it ... A Barolo like you expect it. Wonderfully rich and warm with red and black fruit, leather, tobacco, a little earthy and Obviously a dose of wood. Just to feel comfortable!
Sommelier:
Intense dark red. Walnut nose truffle. On the palate the fruit is concentrated and ripe with a savory nose nose that flows through the palate. It is well balanced with medium acidity and persists in the finish. Overall it is refined and elegant made in a modern style and sees new French oak.
Suggested pairings:
Excellent Barolo DOCG Cerrati Vigna Cucco Riserva 2012 Tenuta Cucco on tagliolini with truffle; hare and polenta; veal fillet with courgette pancakes and polenta; Lamb ribs; cheeses; dried fruit of all kinds.
Uncork Barolo DOCG Cerrati Vigna Cucco Riserva 2012 Tenuta Cucco and decant a few hours before serving at 16 - 18 ° C in a large Ballon glass.
Wine Cellar:
Only autochthonous vines for the Rossi family, such as the grapes of the Cerrati cru and Vigna Cucco. The well-harmonized cellar is fully reflected in the standardized project already for La Raia, adapting and certified Demeter...Go to the card
