Why I suggest Nero di Troia Kyros
Wine number 503! A beautiful Black of Troy. I developed a great interest in the reds of Puglia. Excellent acidity with very thin fruit, I had fun with a Zapponeta onion omelette and these incredible flavors of raspberries and strawberries were loaded on the front line. Simply delicious!
The Sommelier: Deep garnet color; Red cherries, raspberries, aromas of dried roses with earthy notes. The palate is rich, complex and slightly warm. Following the profile of the nose with tones of white pepper. Very well balanced, long and spicy finish, grainy and persistent tannins. Maceration on 6-day skins, malolactic fermentation in steel tanks, aging in bottle.
Recommended pairings: Favetta and chicory, pancotto turnip greens and potatoes, gnocchi with sauce; risotto with white truffle. Tiella potatoes and mushrooms. Horse meat chops; Florentine cut and red Treviso radicchio. Focaccia from Bari, sweet fried olives,
Uncork and decant before serving at a temperature of 16-18 ° C, in Ballon goblet.
Wineries: Aristocratic wines, but above all impeccable quality wines. Retracing Le Strade del Vino, Michele De Santis transports us with glasses along a route of about 250 km, stopping in vineyards ...
