Alkeys Barbera Sannio DOP 2019 Ca'Stelle Barbera good and juicy, with a ruby red color. The nose was unfortunately a little closed, offering hints of raspberries and strawberries. Easy to drink and excellent paired with a spicy salami pizza. On the palate it is medium-bodied, round and classically characterized by sweet cherries, blackberries and spices. A great Italian everyday red.
Suggested pairings:
We find that the Campana cuisine has the characteristics for a good food and wine association. Alkeys Barbera Sannio DOP 2019 Ca'Stelle is easy to drink and is an excellent addition to wild boar; excellent paired with baked pasta; with eggplant parmigiana, pizza with spicy salami.
