Why the winemaker recommends Mauro Molino Barolo La Serra DOCG 2019
Yes, this is how a Barolo should taste. Carefully crafted and absolutely fantastic. It needs air, lots of air! Smooth satisfies all taste buds.
Characteristics of Mauro Molino Barolo La Serra wine
A young, intense Barolo, with berries in evidence, the plum that comes out and captures your nose leaving room only for very light balsamicity. The sweetish note typical of vanilla due to the aging in barrique can already be felt on the nose. In the mouth the aromas correspond with an acidic vein that gives structure. Full-bodied and long-lasting, the tannins quite integrated, in a few years it will be a great bottle!
Recommended pairings with Barolo DOCG red wine
Barolo Conca 2019 by Mauro Molino, perfect with fillet; vegetable first courses, lamb meat; cabbage and pig's foot stew. Traditional Piedmontese dishes. Meat chops are better if spicy; goes well with the fillet and grilled Treviso red radicchio.
Uncork the Piedmont red wine by Mauro Molino Barolo La Serra 2019 and decant two hours before serving at a temperature of 18 - 20°C, in a large Ballon glass.
