The brothers Antonio and Domenico Cotarella, who have always been wine growers in Monterubiaglio in the province of Terni in the 1960s, set up the cellar for the transformation of the grape properties. The passion also involves Renzo and Riccardo Cotarella, it is affirmed internationally, in 1979 they expand and enhance the productive project started by the parents, transforming the family business into a wine company, the current Falesco. It embraces two regions, Umbria and Lazio, which are interesting from a production standpoint. The large extension of the estate is a surface area of 370 hectares, entirely covered by native and international vines. The soil has different physical characteristics: Verdicchio, Vermentino, Trebbiano, white Malvasia, Aleatico vines; meet rows of Sangiovese, Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet red grapes.
