Why I suggest Pinot Nero Pigeno
Burgundy Class Tasting. The second intruder (unbeknownst to others). Friends start counting the covered bottles on the table and find one more…. I sneer under the "mustache" J. He defended himself to the greatest. From the color it was clear that it was not a Pinot N from Burgundy. Important nose, very open, red fruit but also some spicy notes; binder. In the mouth balanced with an excellent acidity, more pleasant than complex. I love wine and I love South Tyrol, long walks in these mountains make me feel at home. Understand when it's time to stop and go back or be able to arrive and touch the sky with a finger.
The Sommelier: Excellent Pinot Noir Riserva from Alto Adige. Ruby red color, clean, bright and transparent to the nail. Aromatic fruit (black cherry) that is balanced by notes of dried fruit, toasting, spices, mountain herbs. The drink is dynamic and clean with young but persistent tannins, and finally a pleasant acidity
Recommended pairings: All traditional Italian dishes, including Italian beef sauces, ragout ravioli, Milanese risottos, grilled or roasted white meats.
Uncork and decant before serving at a temperature of 14-16 ° C, in medium Ballon glass.
Winery: Stroblhof cultivates the most renowned vine of South Tyrol, and enters as a representative and founder of the Association of Independent Winegrowers of South Tyrol. Offering quality, combined with traditional production methods in modern cellars, sets the seal of guarantee for South Tyrolean winemakers...
