Why the winemaker recommends Mauro Molino Leradici Barbera d'Asti DOCG 2021
Despite the high alcohol content of 16%, the wine is in full balance and differs significantly in a positive way compared to its even more expensive counterparts
Characteristics of Mauro Molino Leradici wine
Juicy and dense Barbera juice from a vineyard located in the hamlet of Burio, one of the most fascinating areas of Costigliole d'Asti. Macerated in contact with the skins for 10 days in stainless steel, followed by a malolactic fermentation, it diffuses intense and youthful aromas of large pieces of cherries, abundant blueberries, fresh rose petals, moderate earthy impressions and a spiciness dominated by thyme. Not complex but with a full flavor, well balanced and very persistent!
Recommended pairings with Barbera d'Asti DOCG 2021 red wine
Suitable for large dishes such as pasta and legumes; vegetable stews in winter; excellent accompaniment with Barese focaccia; vegetable side dishes in EVO oil.
Uncork the Piedmont di Mauro Molino Barbera Leradici red wine and decant before serving at a temperature of 17 - 18°C in a large Ballon glass.
