Why I recommend L'Oscuro Lambrusco Emilia IGT

L'Oscuro Lambrusco Emilia IGT is a Lambrusco extraordinarily rich in colour, ideal for enriching and sometimes coloring wines less endowed with natural coloring pigments. The native vine varieties for the production of L'Oscuro di Righi are Lambrusco wines planted in the areas of Modena and Reggio Emilia, in the Emilia Romagna region, the homeland and territory of these vines. Lambrusco Grasparossa, Salamino and Maestri, each contributes in percentage to bring its own most marked organoleptic characteristic. The heady aromas of Lambrusco Salamino on the nose range through hints of peach pit, as for Lambrusco Grasparossa and Maestri scents of violet and raspberry. Vinified and with second fermentation in the bottle, the freshness is highlighted, limiting the tannins of Lambrusco in general.

Characteristics of the wine:

The Oscuro sparkling wine Lambrusco Emilia IGT by Gaetano Righi, an excellent selection of three grape varieties. From the perfect ripening of the bunches a sparkling wine of an intense red colour. Bubbly and sparkling. Rich in perfume, violet, raspberry, ripe strawberry, followed by a note of peach stone. Fresh semi-dry taste, slightly tannic. The perfumed bouquet makes it pleasantly drinkable.
